Anyway, I was just trying to make some flat base in Inkscape using Goran's Jjiaro texture set as a starting point, and now I'm fancying how it could be playing with an entire set made in this style.

I'll pretend my shyiness in installing Marathon on my PC is because on Linux is a slightly more complex deal that the other platforms, and not because the massive motion sickness I have at playing any FPS game for more than five minutes, sigh.

I don't know how much this style will clash with Infinity general atmosphere, I guess a lot. But while lurking around the Simp7icity repository I've seen some resource with this kind of clean design and I went, why not?

...I just have to undestand how to make maps nowadays. No small feat I fear.

Strangely, is much less head bobbing, and more when I "turn my head" with speed. Now that I'm thinking of it, I had the same problem with Kairo and getting a larger angle of wiev helped.

...ok, also maybe installing Marathon on Linux is another hurdle. Might try on a virtual machine, I don't feel being too much experimental on my work machine!

I'm afraid I can't see it. But then again my computer is almost 12 years old now and he has had problems viewing photos in the past. So that is probably a problem on my end not yours.

Motion sickness seems to be a common dilemma. My mom is amazing at arcade games and at platformer games. But she suffers motion sickness at First Person Shooters as well as RPG games like Skyrim. I always have to choose over the shoulder games so she can watch what I'm doing or play along.

...the age might be a reason, yes (probably some standard of dealing with the link that's not up to date... it happens).

Now that I remember, Aleph One should have a kind of "over the shoulder" mode but It's not so different than the first person view... I might gave a try.
